Join the Welchester Elementary Parent Teacher Association! 

PTA's mission is to help Welchester thrive by supporting the whole school and its goals, fostering a collaborative community that prioritizes student success, parent involvement and educational excellence.

The Welchester PTA supports and sponsors annual school events such as our Beginning and Ending of the Year BBQs, Donuts with Eagles, and Welchester World Tour. We coordinate fundraisers like ButterBraids, the Chili Cookoff and Silent Auction, and the SOAR 5k to raise funds for events that support the thriving of our students, families, and teachers. The PTA regularly contributes to field trips, staff support (appreciation and professional development), student and family well-being initiatives, and other very worthwhile causes! We also host a variety of community events to bring our families together while generating donations for our school.

There are many ways you can get involved and support us:

• Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm in person at the school with options to join virtually.
  • PTA meetings offer collaborative spaces for parents, teachers, and others to invest energy, ideas, time, and talent to the school! We also hear from teachers and Principal Tarpley about current events, challenges, and successes at Welchester.
• We always need volunteers! Our board members are happy to help you connect in ways that make sense for you. There are many ways you can help continue to make Welchester a great place for our children!
• Membership dues are $8 and earn you voting rights, as well as membership to Colorado PTA, our parent organization, and a variety of discounts. You can pay by dropping off cash or a check made out to ‘Welchester PTA’ at the front office, or by signing up online through our website.
