Meet the Principal

Welcome back Welchester families! I hope you had a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to serve this community and staff as your principal. This will be my 19th year in education and my 11th year at Welchester. In addition to the principal role, I have served as a classroom teacher, math and reading interventionist, instructional coach, dean of students, and assistant principal. 

As we continue our work from last year in year two of our state and school goals, we will continue our theme with a small addition. “One team. One goal. Together everyone achieves more.” We believe that every student should have access and support to achieve their highest potential. Research shows the power of partnerships between home and school as a key piece to achieving this success. This year we will sustain the work from last year and dig deeper to create stronger family and school partnerships, student engagement, and differentiation for all.
